The Innocence Project

The Innocence Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to exonerating wrongfully convicted individuals through DNA testing and advocating for meaningful criminal justice reform. Their work helps uncover flaws in the legal system and brings justice to those who have been failed by it.

Penn State KAPi is proud to support the Innocence Project as our primary philanthropy. Through fundraising and awareness initiatives, we stand behind their mission to fight wrongful convictions and promote a fairer, more accountable justice system—aligning with our values as aspiring legal professionals.

KAPi's hopes to fundraise $2000 or more this year, to support the Innocence Project. Roots, one of our consistent partners has stated "We so loved collaborating with [KAPi] all last Fall and your fundraiser for The Innocence Project was one of our most successful ones at Penn State!
