Kappa Alpha Pi is Penn State University's Premier Pre-Law Fraternity. Re-established in 2004, KAPi is home to a community of like-minded peers all working towards the same bright, successful future. Along with a lifetime community, see our other reasons for joining KAPi!

Law School Preparation

Our New Member Education process, bi-weekly chapter meetings, and member-exclusive events prepare Brothers to be an ideal candidate for top law schools and to succeed in law school. Kappa Alpha Pi holds round-table discussion with Deans of top law schools, workshops on the law school admission process. discounts to exclusive LSAT preparation courses, and etc.

Fraternalism

As Kappa Alpha Pi greatly aids each member in pursuing their interest in the legal field, it also provides a community of like minded individuals that share a common passion. Our fraternity provides you with a group of brothers and sisters that will end up creating some of the best memories you will take away from your time at Penn State.

Community and Network

The Kappa Alpha Pi alumni network is extensive and impressive. Brothers have attended the nations top law schools, business schools, and Ph.D and master's program. Brothers also work in the top law firms, government jobs and non-profits. Each new member has the opportunity to connect with and learn from an alumni mentor working in their particular field of interest.

Career Development

During the first semester, brothers of Kappa Alpha Pi develop their professional skills, explore career paths, perfect their resumes and cover letters, hone their public speaking skills and deepen their understanding of law. The professional and leadership skills learned as a new member are invaluable regardless of whether one is continuing in the field of law or not.
